How long will the engraving last?
The engraving, the lifetime of the rock of course. We use a lithichrome black stone paint and clear coat that holds up very well. Twenty five years later our rocks still look pretty darn good. Limestone and soft granite rocks do not last as long so we try to stay away from those. Yes, we did many softer rocks when we started but we have learned our lessons and do the best job possible these days. Thats why we try to offer the best rocks available to us.
Can I bring my own rock?
Yes, please send a photo first to make sure we can engrave on it.
Although we can engrave on anything, the final product may not be what you had in mind.

Do you engrave limestone?
Rarely, limestone is much softer than granite so the paint will need to be touched up every few years. This is not what we want for our customers.
